Greek Scholar Richard C Trench’s Synonyms of The New Testament is an old favourite in simplified form, the original presented quotes in latin which is difficult for the layperson to comprehend, this volume is easier. The use of Strong’s numbers for those not able to read the Greek lettering, with ‘Contents’ and ‘Index to Greek Words’ all transliterated into English lettering. Quotations also translated. Cited by the Society regarding the explanation of Kosmos (World) and the difference between the Bible terms for “rebuke” and “reprove,” but there are many more differences subtle but important to learn. Well worth reading.
Easy to use in conjunction with W E Vines Expository Dictionary to understand the full meaning of the Greek text.
Explains the fine distinctions between words that could easily be confused.
